大邱は1981年にアトランタAtlantaと、1997年に広島 Hiroshimaと、2010年に台北Taipei とそれぞれ姉妹都市関係 sister city を結びました。韓国の大邱にはおぞましい犬猫肉産業に責任ある対処をしてもらわねばなりません。

韓国はヒュンダイ、紀亜、サムスン、LG、大宇、SK、POSCO等の世界的企業の母国であるのと同時に、犬肉食いの腹と、犬肉産業関係者の懐を充たすために年間250万匹もの犬を拷問し屠殺しています。　あまり知られておりませんが、大邱Daegu Metropolitan City にはChilseong Marketという韓国でも最大規模の犬肉市場があります。その市場では生きている犬とすでに屠殺された犬の両方を売っています。

大邱のChelseong犬肉市場は『この世の地獄』です。人にとって親友であるはずの犬が連なるオリの中で犬を殺す事を何とも思わないお客からの注文で屠殺されるのを待っているのです。　その屠殺は電撃死、撲殺、首を吊り殴り殺す、生きたまま熱湯に放り込む等、あらゆる残忍な方法で行われています。白昼の公の場において、オリの中で怯える犬の目の前でこの惨劇は繰り広げられています。

韓国には犬や猫の食用販売を規制する法律がありますが、ことごとく無視されています。
