가. 현장 방문하여 견주에게 목줄 교체 및 적절한 사료 급여 등 환경 개선을 계도 하였으며, 현장 출동한 경찰 입회하에 견주가 반려견을 동물단체 케어에 건강검진 등을 위해 인계했습니다.
나. 견주가 소유권 포기 의사를 밝혀, 해당 반려견은 동물단체 케어로 인계 되었습니다.

1. Greetings. We hereby inform you of the results of our review regarding the civil complaint you submitted through the Korean Government Petition System (Petition No. 1AA-2511-0368267), as outlined below.

2. Your complaint has been reviewed and classified as a matter concerning the handling of an alleged case of animal abuse in Gochon.

3. Our findings in response to your inquiry are as follows:
a. An on-site inspection was conducted, during which the pet owner was instructed to improve the animal’s living conditions, including replacing the leash and providing appropriate feed. In the presence of responding police officers, the owner transferred custody of the dog to the animal welfare organization “CARE” for a health examination and related care.
b. As the owner formally expressed their intention to relinquish ownership, the dog was subsequently placed under the care of the aforementioned animal welfare organization.
