New Calls for Action
Campaigns to urge District Governments
to end the dog and cat meat cruelty!

Your voice and direct actions are making a difference for the Korean dogs and cats. The Korea Bizwire just reported that “The Korean National Fire Agency (KNFA) said on Wednesday that it will distribute video instructions on resuscitating dogs, cats, and other pet animals to local fire stations to ensure the safety and health of pets in emergency situations.” Click HERE to learn more. This is a proof that our campaigns work even though not quickly enough. So let’s keep going!

South Korea has a capital city, Seoul, and 6 metropolitan cities – Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Ulsan, Daejeon and Ulsan. Cities in South Korea are made up of multiple ‘administrative districts and we are petitioning each of them in turn beginning with the capital and metropolitan cities. Daejeon and Ulsan are the remaining of these 6 cities. Click each of these districts below to take action now!

Epeople – Powerful weapon
in fighting dog meat trade in South Korea!

Dear friends,
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to file an e-People petition. This is the official Korean government petition and they are required to provide a response. They cannot ignore it.

I hope this illustrates the importance and effectiveness of filing e-People petitions in our fight to end the dog and cat meat trade in Korea:

Filing 1 e-People petition is as effective as:
– 100 Emails sent to the Korean government
– 300 Online petitions signed
– 10,000 Tweets
– 10,000 Facebook posts

You can find how to file the e-People petition on our campaign pages.

South Koreans:
Stop the illegal dog and cat meat trades.

File your petition on e-people
South Korea’s Official Government Petition Page!

All across South Korea, millions of ‘meat dogs’ (including newborn puppies) which are destined for human consumption, are kept outdoors in meat farms and slaughterhouses, imprisoned in cages that are crudely constructed of wire and raised off the ground, and which afford no protection from the snow or freezing winds that are part of a normal winter in that country. These poor creatures – from the second they are born, to their final breath at the uncaring hands of a brutal butcher – have to endure endless misery and agony. South Korea is truly a “Hell on Earth” for countless innocent dogs and cats. So, please, don’t let the Koreans continue their vile and cruel practice.

A simple but very effective way is to file a petition directly with the Korean government using the e-People online petition page. This is different than other petitions because the Korean government is responsible for responding to you! If they have to address and respond to hundreds, thousands or hundreds of thousands of petitions on this issue; then perhaps they will finally be put under enough pressure to take action to bring this horrific animal cruelty to an end.

Click HERE for the Korean translation of our petition.  Please include them in your letters and e-People petitions.

PLEASE NOTE: We had received responses to our e-People petitions. However, since I need to prioritize my time on creating new campaigns, I will not be able to post them on our website at this time. Click HERE to see the responses that I have posted. If you filed your e-People petitions, you WILL receive responses from the Korean government.
