3. 귀하의 질의에 대해 검토한 결과는 다음과 같습니다.
가. 현재 관내에 불법 개농장, 도살장, 시장은 운영되고 있지 않음을 알려드립니다. 따라서 동 민원에서 제기하신 사안에 대해 양구군은 해당사항이 없음을 양지하여 주시기 바랍니다.
나. 다만, 개식용에 관하여는 오랜 기간에 걸쳐 형성되었기에 단기간에 법으로 금지하는 것은 쉽지 않음을 양해하여 주시기 바라며, 범정부 차원의 정책과 사회적 합의를 통해 단계적으로 풀어가야 하는 사항임을 양지하여 주시기 바랍니다.
다. 양구군은 동물학대 행위가 신고 될 경우 법적 기준에 따라 엄중한 조치를 취하고, 동물학대 방지를 위한 행정조치도 강화할 것입니다.

2. Your civil petition is understood to be a request to close illegal dog farms, slaughterhouses, markets and dog meat restaurants.

3. Our feedback on your inquiry is as follows.
A. There are no illegal dog farms, slaughterhouses or markets operated in Yang-gu County. Therefore, please note that the issue you raised in the complaint doesn’t apply to Yang-gu County.
B. However, please understand that it is not easy to prohibit the use of dog food in a short period of time because the practice of eating dog meat has been formed over a long period of time. And that it should be resolved in stages through a pan-government policy and social consensus.
C. If any animal abuse is reported, Yang-gu County will take stern measures in accordance with legal standards and tighten executive measures to prevent animal abuses.
