Sharing for SaveKoreanDogs.org:
Bring your doggies to the Pan Pacific Park / Save Korean Dogs Vigil, a Nami Kim sponsored event. The park is very popular with lots of people, dogs and kids, joggers and picnickers, birthday parties, people reading books in the sunshine…
Note – This is a family park so there will be no shaming, no bullhorn, and nothing too graphic. This is a day to raise awareness, share informaiton, and show our support and dedication to ending the dog meat trade and making a better life for all rescue dogs.
We’ll create opportunities to have conversations with people and provide them with the resources to get involved. We’ll have petitions, a poll, info sheets, and photo ops with pets and posters.
We will also feature posters of South Korea’s presidential nominee Moon Jae-In, and Chairman Pyo Chang-Won for Minister of Agriculture. Moon is favored to win the May 9th presidential election, and together they are an important part of the process of abolishing the dog meat trade in South Korea.
We’ll gather at the picnic tables in front of the amphitheater. There are two free parking lots. One off Beverly Blvd next to the Post Office. The second is off Gardner Street at the entrance to the Senior Center and the Library. There is also 2 hour free street parking on Gardner. And meter parking on Beverly Blvd and 3rd St. Parking is also available in the pay parking structure at The Grove.
Thank you all for your compassion,
Susan Campbell
