San Francisco, Fisherman’s Wharf Leafleting Event – March 24, 2018
We had another awesome day at the famous San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco with lots of conversation, raising awareness to the general public, and collecting signatures. We are grateful to the dedicated volunteers, Heather, Ruby, Willow (I am Willow), and Don, who made this event possible. Thank you so much!!
We met many tourists and visitors from all over the world, many of whom were from South Korea. 533 people had gladly signed our petition because they wanted to help these poor dogs. Thank you to all the petition signers!! Tens of thousands of people saw our event and display, and for the first time, learned about the horrific cruelty taking place in South Korea. We are also grateful to the Port Authority, Fisherman’s Wharf Ambassadors and the San Francisco police department for their support and keeping us safe! We have been harassed once again but were not harmed.
Every leaflet, every conversation helps. So, it really shows that everyone can do a little something to bring about change. What will you do today? Click HERE to see more photos from our day.
