Yongin is Hell on Earth for dogs sacrificed in South Korea’s horrific dog meat industry. It is a major supplier of dogs to South Korea’s dog meat industry with one of the largest number of dog farms and dog slaughterhouses in South Korea.

We have been petitioning the city of Yongin for many years now, and the reason they give for not responding to us is simply untrue. They claim that foreigners living in a foreign country are not eligible to submit e-People petitions, so I requested that they provide a copy of the law that so stipulates to that claim. In fact, there is no such clause in the Civil Petitions Treatment Act that they referenced.
Since last week I have continuously called the city of Yongin attempting to get them to respond to our e-People petition. To date, they still have not changed their position. Their profound indifference, while truly shameful, is not surprising for the Korean government.
We must not allow Yongin to continue ignoring our request for the city to take action and enforce their laws to shut down illegal dog farms and slaughterhouses.
We had Sister City campaign – Yongin, South Korea – Fullerton, California and Friendship City Campaign – Yongin, South Korea – Redland, Australia previously and have now updated them. Let’s ask Fullerton and Redland to help stop the horrific cruelty of Yongin by speaking to their Korean counterparts.

Hear wrenchingly sad and blood boiling at the same time. I wish I could rescue every poor wretched soul and bring them to safety. The only way to end this is through the Law – pets , companion animals should be afforded the same protection as human beings because quite simply they are our best friends on Earth and share an inviolable bond with Man .

When is this MURDER going to end. This is illegal and barbaric. Those involved should be prosecuted and imprisoned for there act of cruelty and MURDER of innocent Animals. The Korean government should be ashamed of themselves for still allowing this torture and abuse of helpless Animals to go on. Dogs and cats were not put on this earth to be tortured and abused. They were not put on this earth for human consumption. What is wrong with the Korean Government. They know it is MURDER and illegal. What does that say about them leading there Country. Shame on you.
