Stop the dog & cat meat trade with special focus on South Korea – August 10, 2019 organized by Francie Campbell
On August 10, 2019, Francie Campbell once again held an event in Sydney, Australia to raise awareness on the horrific dog and cat meat trade. The focus of the event was on ‘Boknal’, the hottest days of summer on the lunar calendar when the eating of dogs is ritualized in Korea. The event was held at the Pitt Street Mall in Sydney, outside the ‘Country Road’ Store at the corner of Pitt and King streets from 11am to 2pm. They displayed placards and collected petition signatures which will be submitted to the South Korean Consulate in Sydney, Australia.
Thank you, Francie and all the caring volunteers who came to help and give voice to the helpless Korean dogs and cats!
