[Campaign update] Seoul and Wellington sign a Memorandum for closer ties
Wellington Mayor Justin Lester tweeted yesterday, “Today Wellington signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Seoul, South Korea. We hope this will lead to a sister city partnership and benefit Wellington business, such as the tech industry.” Click HERE to learn more.
We have yet to hear from Mayor Lester’s office regarding our campaign asking their support in stopping the horrific cruelty taking place in their Friendship city, Seoul, South Korea’s dog and cat meat industry. Therefore, this is a big disappointment that Mayor Lester would want to strengthen their ties with Seoul. Please keep taking action urging Mayor Lester and city council of Wellington to have empathy for the millions of dogs and tens of thousands of cats who live in utter misery just to be brutally slaughtered in Korea and help end the appalling and shameful cruelty of Seoul’s dog and cat meat industry.
