○ 귀하께서 문의 하신 민원에 대한 답변을 드립니다.
○ 저희 장수군에는 개고기 농장, 도축장 및 시장은 존재 하지 않습니다. 그리고 음식물쓰레기로 사료를 만드는지 단속할 강아지사료 공장도 존재하지 않으며 전기충격에 의한 감전사는 허용하고 있지 않고 동물보호법 제22조에 의거한 동물의 인도적인 처리(안락사)만 허용하고 있습니다.

○ Hereunder is our reply to your petition (question).
○ There are no dog breeding farms, slaughterhouses, or dog meat markets in Jangsu County. Neither does the county have factories that need to be inspected to check if they make dog feeds with food waste. Only humane treatment of animals (euthanasia or mercy killing) is allowed pursuant to Article 22 of the Animal Protection Act, so the electrocution of dogs is prohibited.
