[February 21, 2018] Busan KAPCA Yangsan Dog Farm Rescue Update
February 21, 2018: Busan KAPCA shared that two large dogs – Mary and Alexandrea – were adopted by a kind Canadian and will be flying to Canada soon. In the case of overseas adoption, flight costs are paid by the adopter. Mother and Elizabeth will be spayed after their vet examination. Among the 8 medium and large dogs rescued, 2 dogs were adopted. Two dogs in the photos were at a shelter and have completed their neuter/spay surgery. However, the shelter became full when they accepted many new dogs and now, we are having to relocate them. We are fully aware that it would be difficult to find foster homes or adopters since they are large dogs, but we are still sharing with the hope that there are kind people who can foster or adopt them. We will pay for the food and medical expenses. We ask for your assistance in helping these dogs.
BKAPCA never rests in their efforts to close down illegal dog farms and slaughterhouses. We are glad to hear that the Ulsan Dong-gu District government (“Dong” means East, “gu” means District) is taking action to shut down illegal dog farms and is working together with the BKAPCA in this effort. We are grateful to both Busan KAPCA and the Ulsan Dong-gu district government. Click HERE to learn more and see the photos.
