Dr. ピョ チャン・グウォン議員の犬肉完全廃止計画 以下は２０１７年８月２９日のDr.ピョ チャン・グウォン議員のFacebook投稿を翻訳したものです： 来年の３月には動物保護法の改正案が施行され、犬の農場飼育や屠殺に関わる残虐行為を犯す者は罰せられます。 動物虐待に対する罰則も現在の２倍に強化されます。 取り締まりの効果を確実なものにするためにさらなる法律を導入します。 ( Dr. Pyo Changwon’s Blog ピョ議員のブログを参照ください). 人間の食用のために（犬肉やボシンタン鍋、犬エキス等） 犬を農場飼育したり屠殺する事は 動物保護法に違反しており、この法律が実際に行使されていたならこれらの行いはそもそも存在していないのです。 しかしながら、犬肉の陳列や販売に対する罰則はありません。 農業食糧、農村地域省は犬肉産業に関して法を行使する責任があります。ですが、彼らがメインとしている職務は農業と家畜産業の保護と開発であり、法が行使されるのは稀です。 韓国経済は輸出が頼りの工業国家であり、国際的な地位や印象に配慮せねばなりません。 犬肉の食用消費は国際的に非難されており、我が国の政府は家畜製品衛生法のもとで繁殖飼育、屠殺、陳列販売が許される「家畜」分類から犬を除外する事でこの産業を隠蔽し、無視してきました。 その結果、大量の抗生物質と殺虫剤と細菌に汚染されている犬肉のあからさまな販売と衛生管理にメスを入れる事もできずに、未だに続けられているのです。 …
