Below is a response we received from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on 11/24/2021 regarding our campaign – Maryland Governor Larry Hogan: Tell your Sister State, Jeollanam Province, South Korea, that you are opposed to the torture and consumption of dogs and cats.

Dear Mrs. Giny Woo,

Thank you for your recent correspondence. I value your interest in the policies of our administration, and greatly appreciate your comments regarding the issues that are important to you. Your input enables me to do a better job of serving you and all of the citizens of Maryland.

I am truly humbled to serve my fellow Marylanders as the governor of this great state. Being responsive to your concerns is a top priority of our administration, and I assure you that your input will be taken into account as we work to make Maryland a better place to live, work, raise a family, and retire.

Thank you again for contacting my office, and please do not hesitate to contact me again in the future about this or any other issue. Hearing directly from citizens is invaluable as we work to change Maryland for the better.
