Last Friday (July 12) was the first of three days of Boknal in Korea, the “Dog Days of Summer” when dog meat consumption is traditionalized. In Daegu, Korean activists from around the country, gathered to protest, demanding the shutdown of Chilseong Market, the largest dog meat market which is still in business . Let’s add our voice to support these activists and urge the Daegu government to shut down the horrific and barbaric Chilseong Dog Meat Market immediately!

It’s bad enough that livestock gets killed for food, but to go to the extreme of inflicting pain is just fucking arrogant. The only good thing that comes with eating any animal is a full bloody gutt. You will not or ever be any better off in any way for inflicted pain before consuming it…. People, need to realise that this is all a fat ass myth and that’s it. So putting animals through immense pain for stupid theories is unforgivable.

Shut down all dog and cat meat production in South Korea! The people who are doing this can’t be decent and honorable people. There is no good excuse for anyone to torture any living being. It seems like the only thing that will work is for the world to totally boycott South Korea – boycott their goods, boycott their companies, boycott their diplomats, boycott travel to South Korea, and any other way to boycott them. We should also boycott any US company that is based there or does business with South Korea. They don’t care about the animals, but they do care about their money. Momentum to stop the dog and cat meat trade is growing and it will become overwhelming, forcing South Korea to stop this barbaric practice! The US should pull its military troops and support out of South Korea until this abomination ends. South Korea and other countries who engage in this horrific trade (Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, and others) need to step up and change their ways.
