[UPDATE] Urgent Action Alert! Forest fire in Uljin burns dogs imprisoned in dog meat farms.
Sharing for Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE)
Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE)/Watchdog and their volunteers are working around the clock to take care of the dogs remaining at the dog farm after the forest fire that spread throughout the region of Uljin, Gyeongsangbuk-do province. While many dogs were burned to death, many more are being treated for severe burns suffered in the fire. The dog farmer relinquished all the remaining dogs. However, the Uljin County Office’s Livestock Division continues to ignore this issue and has yet to visit the site. CARE is trying to get Uljin County to relocate these dogs to county animal shelters while trying to find families for as many as they can.

CARE and Dog Dream team are dedicated to treating the burned dogs from the dog farm. They are also trying their best to find homes for at least the puppies remaining at the dog farm, and they were able to secure adoption opportunities for about 20 dogs. A couple of dog rescue organizations in the United States have offered to help with the adoption of some of these dogs. CARE and Dog Dream must now take care of medical screenings, neutering, and protection requirements to prepare for the adoption. CARE still needs a lot of help with donations, flight volunteers, and volunteers at the dog farm.
Please help CARE rescue and care for these poor puppies by donating today. Click HERE to see the most recent updates from CARE. Thank you!🙏🏼

Dog farm burnt in Uljin forest fire stands still amid local government’s indifference.
The first dog, a border collie, is to be adopted from this dog farm.
Surviving dogs are eating dog food instead of the molded and rotten kimchi garbage they were being fed before.
Dogs are drinking water for the first time. In South Korea’s dog farms, dogs are not given water, and they are forced to eat salty, spicy, rotten, molded garbage made with kimchi garbage and chili peppers. Being thirsty their entire lives is very cruel torture!

I was able to get out of the dog farm only after being burned.
Video: CARE team pleaded with Uljin County officials to relocate the dogs at the dog farm burned by the forest fire to the county animal shelter so they won’t be slaughtered as meat. It just isn’t possible for CARE to take all the dogs from the dog farms they shut down and provide care for them. Uljin County officials refuse to take responsibility for protecting these victims of horrific abuse and are attempting to put the responsibility onto CARE. They even brought in a vulgar animal shelter employee who knows nothing about animal protection law to stalk and intimidate the CARE team during their visit to the Uljin County office.
