Results 1. Thank you for your interest in the work of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. We would like to respond to the complaint (Application No. 1AA-2409-0591867) that you submitted to our Ministry through the e-People Service system.

2. We understand that your complaint is about “Request to end of dog meat eating”.

3. We have reviewed your complaint and have the following comments.

ㅇ As the Special Act on Ending the Breeding, Slaughter and Distribution of Dogs for Human Food was announced (Feb. 6, 2024) by the Plenary Session of the National Assembly, we are taking follow-up measures to ensure that there is no interruption in the implementation of the Act, such as establishing a basic plan to end dog eating and preparing subordinate laws.
