Sister City Campaign – Cheonan, South Korea – Beaverton, Oregon (In Japanese)
オレゴン州ビーバートン市長 Denny Doyle宛：犬や猫に対する虐待とそれらの肉の食用に反対であることを姉妹都市である韓国チョナン市に伝えていただきたい。 韓国で行われている犬猫肉のおぞましい取引きを廃止し、毎年奪われる何百万匹の命を救うために是非ご協力をお願いいたします。 オレゴン州ビーバートン と韓国の チョナン は1989年に姉妹都市 Sister City関係を結びました。 チョナン市は現在も行われている犬や猫に対するおぞましい虐待と殺害に対する責任があります。 あまり知られてはおりませんが、チョナンCheonan には“119犬オークション市場” “119 Dog Auction Market”というペットと食肉用の生体両方を販売する韓国でも最大規模のマーケットがあります。地獄を想像してみるならば、このひどい場所を訪れてみてください。このマーケットの隠し撮りビデオをご覧下さい。そこは文字通り『この世の地獄』です。 抵抗できない犬達はオリにぎゅうぎゅう詰めにされ、そのオリがいくつも連なっていて、レストランや屠殺場にセリにかけられているのです。チョナンにはマーケットやレストランや、死ぬまで拷問し続ける犬の繁殖施設が数えきれない程あり、それらの場所では最も残酷なやり方で屠殺しています。電撃で殺害、首吊り、殴る殺しなど……生きたまま煮えたぎる釜に放り込まれる事もあります。大半はオリの中で怯える犬達の目の前で こういった残虐な屠殺が行われています。しかも白昼に公共の場で行われています。 捨てられたり盗まれたりしたペットも数多く含まれています。 …
