Remains of 20 dogs found at Pet Hotel of Death in Gimhae
Sharing from Busan Korea Alliance for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(KAPCA)‘s Facebook posting on July 31, 2018:
The Gyeongnam Gimhae Seobu police booked without detention for violation of Animal Protection Act, Lee OO, who operated a “Pet Hotel” at a residential building and allowed these dogs left in his care to die. Click HERE to read the news article in Korean language.
Below are photos of the remains of dead dogs found at the Pet Hotel in Gimhae, South Korea.
Activist/rescuer (long time volunteer for Busan KAPCA), Ryu Young-Hwan arranged the relocation and care of the remaining dogs who survived. Below are photos of the dogs not yet claimed by their family, who are still being cared for by Young-Hwan who has so far incurred expenses over 6 million Korean Won (approximately $5,500 USD) to pay for their medical treatment and care, not including the cost to spay and neuter them.
