The Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in London kindly confirmed with us that the Council will be requested to consider our petition at its meeting on Tuesday 17 October. The council will only consider the signatures from the local residents. However, we need to maximize the number of signatures to show our support as well as to increase the local signatures. Every season is brutal for the millions of dogs in South Korea’s dog meat industry. But, the winter is especially brutal. Many of these helpless dogs and their puppies will die in their wire cages with no protection from freezing weather and snow, never knowing anything but the utter misery and immense suffering in their lives… We can no longer stand silently while these dogs suffer immeasurably in tortuous conditions, then are brutally slaughtered.
