1. How are you? We inform you of the results of the review of your complaints submitted to the National Reporting Center as follows.

2. Your complaint is judged to be related to farm confirmation in violation of the Animal Protection Act.

3. The comments we have reviewed on your inquiry are as follows.
– As a result of checking for violations of the Animal Protection Act at the address given, 31 out of 58 places were found to be animal-producing, non-breeding, or dog-related places. 27 places are meat dog farms, and I know that slaughtering on the farm is a violation of the Animal Protection Act, so they are not slaughtering illegally. We will do our best to ensure that animal protection continues through periodic farm inspections.
– In order to avoid complaints about companion animals in our military, we are continuously promoting the Animal Protection Act (distributing inflows by eup/myeon, etc.) We will do our best to create a companion culture.

2. 귀하의 민원내용은 동물보호법 위반 농장확인에 관한 것으로 판단됩니다.

3. 귀하의 질의사항에 대해 검토한 의견은 다음과 같습니다.
– 귀하께서 표시한 주소에 동물보호법 위반 확인점검 결과 58개소 중 31개소는 동물생산업을 하는 곳이거나 사육을 안하는 곳, 또는 개와 관련없는 곳으로 확인 되었습니다. 27개소는 육견 농장으로 농장 안에서 도살은 동물보호법 위반사항으로 알고있기 때문에 불법 도살을 하지 않고 있고, 또한 제가 확인한 결과 도살 하는 장소, 도구도 확인이 되지 않았습니다. 주기적인 농장 점검을 통해 동물보호가 계속해서 이루어지도록 노력하겠습니다.
– 우리군에서는 반려동물 민원이 발생하지 않기 위해 동물보호법 관련 홍보(읍·면별 유입물 배부 등)를 지속적으로 하고 있으며, 앞으로 더 민원이 발생하지 않도록 동물보호법 관련 지도 및 홍보를 계속해서 이웃을 배려하는 반려문화가 이루어지도록 노력하겠습니다.
