안녕하십니까? 귀하께서 신청하신 민원에 대한 검토 결과를 다음과 같이 알려드립니다.

2. Your civil petition is understood to be about “a request for closure of facilities, such as open farms, slaughterhouses, etc.”
귀하의 민원내용은 “개식용 관련 농장, 도축장 등 시설폐쇄 요청 등”에 관한 것으로 이해됩니다.

3. The answer to your request is as follows.
귀하의 요청사항에 대해 검토한 의견은 다음과 같습니다.

A. Public Welfare Special Judicial Police Division (Special Police Officer) of Gyeonggi Province is conducting investigagion on illegal animal-related activities, such as animal abuse in dog farms and in slaughter facilities throughout the year, so if you find any evidence of animal abuse, please report it to the Special Judicial Police Group Report Center (https://www.gg.go.kr/gg_special_cop/gg_special_cop-call).
경기도에서는 사람과 동물의 조화로운 공존사회를 위해 민생특별사법경찰단(특사경)에서 개농장, 도축시설 내 동물학대 등 동물관련 불법행위를 연중 기획수사하고 있으니, 동물학대 행위가 의심되는 현장 발견 시 관련 증거를 확보하신 후, 민생특별사법경찰단 신고제보센터(https://www.gg.go.kr/gg_special_cop/gg_special_cop-call)로 제보하여 주시기 바랍니다.

B. Also, related laws such as the Animal Protection Act, the Livestock Act, and the Wastes Control Act should be amended to prepare a legal ban on dog meat. We will also try to revise the bill in Gyeonggi-do as soon as possible and thoroughly implement the administrative measures accordingly.
또한, 개식용에 대한 법적 금지 마련을 위해서는 「동물보호법」, 「축산법」, 「폐기물관리법」 등 관련 법안이 개정되어야 할 것으로 판단됩니다. 경기도에서도 해당 법안이 개정되도록 노력하겠으며, 이에 따른 행정조치를 철저히 이행하도록 하겠습니다.
