Gyeongsangnam-do’s response to our petition on e-People

Gyeongsangnam-do Governor Kim Kyeong-Su

Below is Gyeongsangnam-do Province’s response to our petition: Gyeongsangnam-do Province, South Korea, Shut down the illegal dog meat farms, slaughterhouses and markets.

Their response states, “Please understand that the civil complaint you filed cannot be processed because, as a result of our review of the civil complaint processing guidelines, it is difficult to consider your petition as a civil complaint.”

They attached a file called “민원답변(영문)” which is translated as Civil Complaint Response (English) but when opened, we found this to be a blank file!!!

What a profoundly indifferent, incompetent and lazy attitude they have towards the unimaginable suffering of millions of dogs and cats brutally slaughtered each year!

Please take action and send your petition through e-People today. If they have to address and respond to hundreds, thousands or hundreds of thousands of petitions on this issue; then perhaps they will finally be put under enough pressure to take action to bring this horrific animal cruelty to an end.

Our campaign is still effective because now they are aware that the eyes of the world are watching what’s going on in their county’s dog meat industry. Let’s keep up the pressure by taking action!
